About Olympia Sea Otters
Olympia’s very own Dragon Boat team currently practices three times a week at Swantown Marina. While dragon boating is not new to Olympia, the Olympia Sea Otters became an independent team in 2020.
Dragon Boating in Olympia
We practice in Olympia, Washington on Budd Inlet, part of the Puget Sound and Salish Sea. These waters have been used for generations by the Indigenous peoples of our region, which include the Squaxin, Nisqually, Quinault, Puyallup, Chehalis, Suquamish, and Duwamish.
Membership Costs
Membership is open to all people over 12 years of age. There is a family/household option as well. The team provides life jackets, paddles, and coaching for everyone.
